A Tree Grows in Brookline is an evolving tree sculpture built of recycled materials. It will remain in Town Hall lobby until late April 2007. Each month a member artist of Studios Without Walls will transform the tree using a different material in a new way. In creating this project the artists of Studios Without Walls hope to raise the awareness of children and adults about the importance of recycling for our community and the Earth. Students are participating in ongoing projects to help create elements of the sculpture and learn about recycling.
