The Church of Our Saviour - Episcopal (25 Monmouth Street) was built in 1868 by the two sons of Amos Lawrence as a memorial to their father. This was one of the early developments in the Cottage Farm and Longwood sections of Brookline. The Chapel and choir room, built in 1893 are attributed to Ralph Adams Cram, and other buildings in the complex, the Parish House (1880, 1913, 1921), Rectory (1886) and Cloister (1914) were added in subsequent years. The Church is a diverse collection of individuals, families, students, of all ages and nationalities and is organized according to the doctrine, discipline, and worship of the Episcopal Church. Many community and arts group use the Parish House on a weekly basis. The Rector of the Church is Michael Corrigan and the Senior Warden of the Vestry is Denise Uliberri.
